Alter Systems, LLC is a fast growing and progressive renewable energy retailer,
solar electric system system designer and installer in Berkeley, CA. We are
expanding our solar installation business for residential, commercial and government
solar systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We currently have two job
openings for Outside Sales Representatives in order to facilitate this growth.
The candidates need to be aggressive and capable of working independently in
a customer centered environment, accountable, and have the ability to work in
a team. These candidates must have the desire to grow with our company’s
fast growth. Also, they need to posses experience in residential and commercial
renewable energy and/or solar electric system sales.
Outside sales representatives will be spending most of their time in the field
generating leads, participating in educating prospective customers about solar
electric systems, contacting partial site evaluations and collecting customer
electricity consumption information in order to prepare system proposals based
on financial analysis (ROI’s). Sales representatives report to Regional
Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- 2 year experience in outside sales
- 1 year minimum experience in renewable energy and/or solar electric system
sales
- Strong communication, customer service and presentation skils
- Proficient with MS Office suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows based
PC environment)
- Experience performing financial calculations (ROI, IRR, NPV, ARP, etc…)

- Understanding of electricity and residential electric systems.
- Four year degree preferred
